If you haven't been to our studio yet, you definitely should check it out! We are located just outside downtown Summerville in a "home" style studio. The studio is designed with a comfortable and relaxed feeling and allows us to conduct our more intimate sessions, such as pregnancy portraits, with total privacy. Children who visit us love coming here and we are definitely child friendly with lots of things to play with and nothing to get hurt with. You won't find any kids placed on high tables like you may find in chain studios. We don't take any chances with your children!

There are several options we can offer for our in-studio session. All of our sessions, except Limited Editions, involve minimal props and backgrounds, so that the focus is on you rather than what we can put around you.

Our most popular style is our black and white relationship session. This session is perfect for almost any type of subject matter. You will be photographed on our hand-painted low-key portrait background and the lighting is soft and beautiful with a dramatic twist. Clothing selections for this session type should be simple and classic with jeans and long sleeve black shirts. These selections put all the focus on the close relationship you have with your family or child.

For a more bright and colorful session, you can choose our high-key portrait style. If you have seen our Baby's First Year program, you will know just what we mean! These sessions are less dramatic than our relationship session but just as beautiful and emotional. Light solid colored clothing is the perfect choice for high key, or you can mix it up with a solid bright color like red or blue. The sky is the limit!

Limited Editions are designed specifically for our "smaller" clients. Usually boys and girls under the age of 9 take advantage of Limited Editions. These sessions feature a specific theme such as our "Enchanting Fairies", "Goodnight Moon" or "Gone Fishing". In many cases, we provide the costumes for the children, and in the cases where we do not, you will be advised on what is best to bring. These sessions are held on certain dates, and only at certain times of the year. You also will not see the same Limited Edition repeated more than once in a year!
